EMS provides a wide range of high-quality, cost-effective voter ink. Ink is available in visible, invisible, and indelible formats. Indelible voter ink comes in blue, red, or green colours. All turn dark black when exposed to sunlight and will remain on the skin for 72 hours and on the fingernail for up to 3 to 4 weeks.
Voter ink is available in dipping bottles, marker pens or spray bottles in concentrations of 5% to 25% silver nitrate and in volumes of 5 ml to 100 ml. Our standard is 80 ml of ink in a 100 ml bottle with a cross cut sponge insert and a heat-sealed plastic aluminum sheet. 80 ml of voter ink will mark from 500 up to 800 voters, depending on the method of application and skin conditions.
Over the last 40 plus years, it is estimated that over 500 million voters have dipped their fingers in voter ink stain.
